Talha completed his bachelor's in Computer Science and is currently pursuing his studies in Engineering Management at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. He joined the Adams Lab team in December 2023.

My research focuses on developing an augmented reality-based CAD app to simplify the CAD design and 3D modeling process. I also conduct usability studies and comparative studies with traditional CAD systems to explore the design process. Specifically, I investigate which cognitive domains are utilized during the design process and validate these findings with EEG to identify which brain regions are active during certain stages of design. I aim to map these brain regions to Bloom's Taxonomy domains to enhance understanding of cognitive processes in design
