Shriyash completed his undergraduate degree at MES Wadia College of Engineering, Pune university and is currently pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. He joined our team as a Graduate Research Assistant in May 2023.

3D Printing, Hybrid Manufacturing, Material sciences and characterization
My research focuses on Additive Manufacturing, particularly Plasma Transferred Arc additive manufacturing, and the characterization of additively manufactured High Chromium White Iron. I study the microstructure, hardness, wear resistance, and other mechanical properties of High Chromium White Iron, analyzing how different welding and additive manufacturing techniques influence and enhance its mechanical properties.
