Faiza completed her undergraduate degree at COMSATS University Islamabad and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. She joined our team as a Graduate Research Assistant in January 2023.

My research is centered on the development of an advanced sensor architecture for manufacturing processes, enabling the real-time acquisition and analysis of critical process parameters essential for process tracking and optimization. This framework integrates cutting-edge data acquisition techniques to enhance production monitoring, throughput analysis, and operational efficiency. Additionally, my research extends to machine health monitoring, focusing on vibration analysis strategies to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). By leveraging intelligent sensing systems and data-driven insights, this work aims to contribute to the advancement of smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives
