Minahil completed her undergraduate degree at Lahore University of Management Sciences and is pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. She joined our team as a Graduate Research Assistant in January 2023.

My research focuses on developing hybrid manufacturing systems by integrating robotic arms with the Robot Operating System (ROS) to enable seamless coordination between additive and subtractive processes. Specifically, I work with large-scale polymer 3D printing, optimizing deposition strategies to enhance print quality and structural integrity. To improve quality control, I implement defect detection techniques and analyze point cloud data for deviation assessment. These efforts aim to enhance dimensional accuracy and surface quality, ensuring more reliable and precise hybrid manufacturing outcomes.
