Research Summary

Additive Manufacturing, Metal 3D Printing, Machine Vision and Image Processing, Quality Control

The research focuses on optimizing process parameters for Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) to achieve the deposition of fully dense parts. The objectives of this study are to print a high-density 3D printed part and perform material characterization. This will be achieved by controlling process parameters and utilizing machine vision camera visualization for exposure-controlled imaging.
