Dr. Abdullah Mohiuddin
Dr. Abdullah completed his Undergraduate degree from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, Masters of Science from Middle East Technical University, Turkey and PhD from Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He joined us in September, 2022 and is currently working as a Post doc in our team.
My Story
My Research interests are Robotics, Additive Manufacturing and Application of CFD for renewable energy.
Research Summary:
Abdullah Mohiuddin is leading the projects related with Wire Arc additive Manufacturing system, hybrid 3D printing and machining, commissioning of Yaskawa GP-50 for polymer-composite additive manufacturing, commissioning of 5-axis 3D printer.
Once the platforms are commissioned several research studies will be conducted related with optimization of infill for wire arc additive manufacturing, spectral analysis for in-situ quality assessment, algorithm development for hybrid 3D printing and machining.
