Lianne Tuin
Lianne completed her Undergraduate degree as well as Masters from Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She joined us in February, 2023 and is currently working as an MSc Student Intern in our team.
My Story
My Research interest is Additive Manufacturing.
Research Summary:
My 14 week project will aim to develop a model of tensile properties as a function of manufacturing process conditions and material solidification for wire arc directed energy deposition additive manufacturing process. The main application area for this project will be to develop material and geometry data models for the printing of fully dense as well as hollow cylindrical truss and structural members that can be produced by the WAAM process for printing of large scale structures with application in building, aerospace, and marine sectors.
